PSCE – Public Safety Communication Europe (Belgium)

PSCE provides a common platform for researchers, industry and users to meet and network, learn about technologies used for public safety and influence policy makers at European level.

PSCE is regularly consulting its membership to understand users’ needs, identify gaps in current solutions and define appropriate requirements. Our constituency also validates the solutions or concepts developed in the framework of various EU funded projects. The association has a proven track record in market analysis, exploitation and business plans.

PSCE is also engaged in standardization activities and is since 2017 a Market Representation Partner near 3GPP.

PSCE is also developing White Papers in order to inform its members on key trends and possible technological solutions. Representing a large community of PPDR stakeholders, PSCE adopts regularly positions reflecting the views of the sector.

PSCE is an expert in provision of enhanced and well-elaborated communication. PSCE organises number of workshops, webinars as well as two major conferences traditionally attracting around 80 international participants from more than 15 countries. They aim at bringing together top-level policymakers, academic researchers, industrial experts and other interested stakeholders to discuss the new developments in the area of critical communications and reach out to a wider European audience.

Furthermore, PSCE delivers a range of regular publications offering news and information towards its constituency and stakeholders. These are the Flash News, Factsheets and Newsletters. PSCE has an extensive experience in website management and communication towards its partners and contacts across Europe and internationally.

In the CORE project, PSCE:

  • leads WP8 that includes the Dissemination and Communication, the Online Presence and the Clustering Activities of CORE;
  • contributes to Risk perception, improving resilience and dynamic risk (WP6);
  • contributes to CORE Legacy (WP9).
